Dear Families,

Quality early childhood education has been the hallmark of the Presbyterian Community Preschool since it was founded in 1963. First United Presbyterian Church started the Preschool in order to serve families in the church and in the Belleville community. First United Presbyterian Church continues to support the nonprofit preschool by providing the facility and the utilities at no cost to the Preschool or parents. Preschool tuition is based on other actual costs of operating the Preschool, such as the salaries of teachers, supplies, and other miscellaneous costs.

Early registration begins on February 1 and goes through March 8. Attached are the following documents:

  • Registration Information sheet listing days, hours, registration fees, and other details.

  • Registration Form that needs to be filled out and returned with registration fee as soon as possible to secure your child’s place in a classroom.

  • Tuition Policy Statement that notes the first tuition payment will be made in August and the last payment will be made in April. This form must be signed and returned with the Registration Form.

  • Health Examination Form which must be completed by parent and medical staff.

  • The Preschool offers two scholarships to cover 2/3 of the yearly tuition. A letter detailing the scholarships is included as is the Scholarship Application. The application is due no later than May 15, and scholarship recipients will be notified mid-July.  View the Scholarship Letter & Application.

Registration Fee (only 1 fee per family)
The Registration Fee is non-refundable unless the Preschool Board is unable to place your child in a class.

Classes offered:
Your child must be 3 or 4 years old by September 1, 2021
  • 3-year-olds on Wednesdays and Fridays (2 Days/week)
    9:00 am - 2:00 pm
  • 4-year-olds on Tuesdays and Thursdays (2 Days/week)
    9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Tuition Payments begin August 1, 2021

Tuition is $1,530 for the year.
Tuition payments can be paid in full, twice a year, or payable in 9 installments of $170/month


Classroom Supply Fee of $25 is due on August 1, 2021.

School Year:

  • Orientation will be the week of August 23-27, 2021. In early August, your child’s teacher will contact your family with the day and time of orientation for your family.
  • Regular classes will begin the week of August 30, 2021.    


Physicals

  • All children are required to have a recent physical examination prior to entering preschool (not more than 6 months before start of school classes). The form is to be completed by your physician.  View the Physical Examination Form

The Registration Form is valid only if accompanied by payment of the Registration Fee.

Tuition & Tuition Policy Statement for 2021-2022
Registration Fee: Returning Families      $40 from February 1 - March 8; $60 after March 8

Supply Fee    $25 (due August 1)

1. The Registration Fee is due at time of registration.

2. Tuition is not refundable due to your child’s illness, vacation, or a move. Tuition is not transferable to another student.

3. You may choose from the options below to make your tuition payments.

OPTION 1: Monthly
Tuition may be paid monthly. Payment is divided into nine (9) installments of $170 each. Your first payment is due on August 1. Each subsequent payment is due on the 1st of each month, continuing for eight (8) consecutive months through April 1

OPTION 2: In Full
Tuition may be paid in full for the entire amount of $1,530. Your payment is due on August 1. Do not pay in advance if there is any chance you will be moving as tuition is not refundable or transferable.

OPTION 3: Two Payments
Tuition may be paid in two payments: $765 due on August 1, and $765 due on January 1.

4. If you pay by check in person or by mail, make checks payable to Presbyterian Community Preschool.

5. Monthly tuition payments may also be set up at your bank through online banking. Set up Pay Bills payable to Presbyterian Community Preschool, 1303 Royal Heights Rd., Belleville, IL 62223, and use the payment date as the first of each month August through April.

6. If your child’s tuition is not paid by the 5th of the month, an additional $35 late fee will be added.

7. If you are more than one month late in paying your child’s tuition, your child will not be permitted back in the class until tuition is paid in full.

8. If the Preschool Board incurs an Insufficient Funds Fee, this fee shall be charged to the family.
